Inspirational outfit ideas: What to wear to an art fair

Art Fair Fashion

I’ve spent a few days this week at the London Art Fair, which has been really interesting and a lot of fun, especially given that I have VIP tickets. Whoo hoo! If you have never been to an art fair, there are a couple of things you need to know. First, dress comfortably. You’re going to be walking around a lot, and unless you go the the early private view, it will be super crowded. Second, you want to look like you mean business i.e. comfortable but not like a total slob. I’ve picked out a couple of outfit ideas that you might enjoy based on an artist theme!

(1) Jackson Pollack – If you’re into the splatter paint look or bright colours, these high heels (for her) and bright tennis shoes (for him) are the way to go. These options are perfect for hanging out in the VIP lounge.

(2) Claude Monet – Ah, the impressionists! Who doesn’t love ‘Water Lilies’? The colours are so beautiful and the scenery is so fresh. We’ve picked out a purple skirt and tie that would not look out of place at the collectors’ preview cocktail party.

(3) Marc Chagall – Chagall has been a favourite of mine since I can remember. There is just something about the surrealism of his work that I love! This super comfy t-shirt is perfect for walking around and around the fair while the Hermes Apple watch will ensure you get to art talks on time.
